new picture 1/18! Video from a family that met her 9/17: the staff had little to say about Cadence that was kind. We were allowed to see her , She is beautiful and sweet and calm. She sat at a table serenely eating her snack and reached her hand out to me when I sat down next to her. She is gentle. The other children in the room were wild and talkative and ramped up by our presence. She was watching us calm and quiet. She's as angelic as they get. She doesn't talk but does respond to questions and is aware. They described her as being in her own little world. She's the sweetest of souls. The biggest issue is that she is not fully toilet trained. She does not dress herself and needs help with her care. We watched her walk and it is very tentative. The staff sees her as mentally deficient and has written her off as unteachable. She has no value in their eyes. We see great potential and of unmeasurable value.
Her orphanage is not the
best place to live in, but I was told that she "may" be transferred
so to even worse place. She is a very good girl, very friendly and ready for
the family.
She needs the family asap! Please update her file.
Her official diagnoses are syndrome of movements disturbance, conformational abnormalities of brain, unspecific; other disorders of mental development. She cannot talk, she only makes some sounds to express herself. She understands direct speech though. Well-behaved and friendly girl. |
